Announcing our FIRST HOLIDAY PRODUCTION

IT'S OFFICIAL!
LETC is producing "A Christmas Story."

The performances will be December 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16 & 17.

This is the classic "You'll shoot your eye out" and leg-lamp story.  We are looking for a boy around 10 years old to play Ralphie and a few other children, especially boys.  Al parts are open - nothing has been pre-cast.

Auditions will be held September 22 & 23 with callbacks on September 24.

You should prepare a short monologue for the audition, then, in the call backs you will read from the script.  The monologue does not have to be from the play, it can be from anything.  Visit www.LaForgeEncore.org to download a copy of the Audition Form.

The auditions on September 22 & 23 will be at 6:00-10:00 pm (you only need to come once during those days).  Callbacks are on Saturday, September 24 from 10:00am-4:00pm.  If you are selected for callbacks you will need to plan on staying the entire time.

All auditions and performances will be at Blue Peak High School, 211 S. Tooele Blvd.

Please e-mail Carol at carol.laforge@laforgeencore.org with any questions.

Tooele City Arts Council

The Arts Council is conducting a survey to help improve the quality and quantity of the Arts in Tooele.  Please help us out by taking the survey.  The Arts Council is the reason LaForge Encore is in existence -  together we can make the Arts an important element in Tooele.  The more people who take the survey, the more the city council and city government can see how important the arts are.  Please go to this site and take the survey:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RN9JBY8

I am not sure, but I think if you click on the URL it will take you to the survey.

Thank you!

The Elephant's Child

We performed the Reader's Theatre
THE ELEPHANT'S CHILD
Thursday, February 10th at Stansbury Clubhouse Library

Pamela Giles -- reacting dramatically -- in purple, of course.

Lory Crofts playing the drums.  "Once, in the far off times, there was an elephant, an elephant's child, who was full of satiable curiosity."

It was a really fun show.  We had a great time.  Thank you, Ladies!  You were awesome!
